They must ensure that all information provided is accurate, truthful, and complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Landlords agree to indemnify and hold Highlander Housing harmless from any claims or disputes arising from their listings.

Tenants: Tenants are responsible for conducting their own research and due diligence before entering into any rental agreements. Highlander Housing does not vet or endorse any properties or landlords. Tenants agree to indemnify and hold Highlander Housing harmless from any claims or disputes arising from their rental agreements.

3. No Agency or Brokerage Services

Highlander Housing is not a real estate broker, agent, or intermediary. We do not offer real estate brokerage services, and we do not represent landlords or tenants in any transactions. All transactions, agreements, and negotiations are conducted directly between landlords and tenants without any involvement from Highlander Housing.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

No Transaction Responsibility: Highlander Housing is not responsible for any part of the rental transaction process, including but not limited to negotiations, lease agreements, property management, and dispute resolution. We do not guarantee the performance of any party or the outcome of any transaction.

No Guarantee of Accuracy: While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, Highlander Housing does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listings or information provided on our platform. Users are responsible for verifying all information independently.

No Endorsement: The presence of property listings on Highlander Housing does not imply any endorsement or recommendation by us. Users must conduct their own due diligence and make independent decisions.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Highlander Housing, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the platform; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the platform; (d) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the platform by any third party; (e) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the platform; and/or (f) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party. In no event shall Highlander Housing’s total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these terms or from the use of or inability to use the platform exceed the amounts you paid to Highlander Housing for use of the platform or $100, whichever is greater.

Landlords must adhere to the following guidelines when creating listings:

Provide accurate and truthful information about the property.

Include necessary details such as rent, location, amenities, and contact information.

Update listings promptly to reflect current availability and conditions.

7. User Conduct

Users agree to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any misuse of the platform, including posting false or misleading information, is prohibited.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Highlander Housing website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, are the property of Highlander Housing and are protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the website without prior written permission.
